Getting there

To Budapest:

By plane: Fly to Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport. You can take the bus 100E to get to the city center, for around 3 €, or you can take a taxi, for around 30€. If you are taking a taxi, we suggest you to use “Főtaxi” (which is the official partner of the airport), to ensure that you do not pay more than the official taxi price. After you exit the airport, turn left and you will find a little building where you can order a taxi. You can see it marked (in a not so sophisticated, but practical way) on the picture below:

By train: There are multiple international trains arriving to Budapest Keleti railway station.

By bus: You can use Flixbus.

To Three Treasures Valley:

Address: Hungary, 3078 Bátonyterenye, Bükkvölgyi major 1; Három Kincs Völgye

By car: The Three Treasures Valley is 100 kms away from Budapest in North East area of Hungary. The Valley can be approached easily on a serpentine road. On rainy days an experienced driver is recommended.

Car sharing and common transportation is organized in this spreadsheet.

By bus: from Budapest every hour, 1h30 hours by bus then 20 minutes walk. It is suggested to have hiking shoes on 🙂
You can find the Hungarian bus schedule here (the destination is “Bátonyterenye”). The buses are leaving from “Stadionok bus station”:
